Water, water, all we want is water
The best way to quench your summer thirst

The best way to enjoy summer is by jumping into the pool. To help you keep a cool head even on the hottest days, here are some of the foods that contain the most water.

In Zillertal in Tyrol, summer is just as it should be: beautiful, deep blue skies and the sun beaming down its glorious warmth (apart from the odd rain shower, of course). To cool off, we recommend diving into the cool waters of the pool at our hotel in Tyrol and enjoying a deliciously refreshing drink on the terrace. But to give you other ways of feeling fresh all summer long, we’ve put together our top 3 summer foods just for you. You could say they’re water in edible form.

In first place, we have our undisputed winner the cucumber, which is 96% water and the perfect summer food. Whether you enjoy it in a cold soup or as part of a creamy smoothie, cucumbers are refreshing and hardly contain any calories. Strawberries and raspberries take second and third place in our summer rankings. These sweet, red fruits are perfect eaten as they are, but also taste simply divine as a homemade sorbet. All you need to do is purée the fruits, mix with a little lemon juice and water, and freeze in portions. They make a scrumptious iced treat on a hot summer’s day.
