Water equals well-being
Out of your waterbed, into the pool

Of course, the pool is perfect for doing the crawl, splashing around, or simply drifting on the water. But there are also various effective exercises that you can enjoy.

If you enjoy the feeling of moving in water, then you’ll love these water exercises! At Hotel Neue Post in Mayrhofen, your hotel in Tyrol, the indoor pool is available for you to indulge in some water training all year round.

To help make your time in the water even more effective and fun, we would like to share one of our favourite water exercises with you. Give it a try on your next stay in beautiful Zillertal!

The “water angel” exercise: Stretch your arms out to the sides, then move your arms forward through the water in a wide arc with your palms facing forwards, until the palms touch. Now, with your palms facing backwards, move your arms back, overcoming the resistance of the water evenly and powerfully. While doing this exercise, make sure your upper body remains straight and keep your knees slightly bent. Repeat 15 times. This exercise strengthens the muscles in the upper arms and torso.

Have fun!
